NASCAR Star Kyle Busch Celebrates the Return of M&M’S® Crispy
Homage to ‘Days of Thunder’ signals the return of M&M’S® Crispy following a 10 year hiatus in the US
The 1990 iconic blockbuster ‘Days of Thunder’ has received an M&M’S® Crispy revamp. To celebrate the return of M&M’S® Crispy candy to US shelves, NASCAR driver Kyle Busch stars in an M&M’S® themed homage to iconic racing movie, ‘Days of Thunder’, which marks its 25th anniversary this year. The spoof trailer, now on Mars Chocolate’s YouTube channel, shows Kyle race his bright green No. 18 M&M’S® Crispy Toyota round the track with wife Samantha even making a cameo as Nicole Kidman’s character in the original.
M&M’S® Crispy chocolate candies returned to the US in January 2015 after a decade of consumer phone calls, petitions and Facebook posts begging Mars to reintroduce the popular variety. To celebrate the return, Busch’s No.18 M&M’S® Toyota has been decked out and racing in bright green M&M’S® Crispy branding for all of the 2015 NASCAR season.
