SAE International to Honor Four Toyota Engineers with Award for Research on Automotive Lubricants during 2015 World Congress

SAE International announces it will honor four Toyota Motor Corporation engineers with its Award for Research on Automotive Lubricants. The group will receive the awards during the SAE 2015 World Congress, which will be held April 21-23, 2015 in Detroit.

Established in 1986, this award annually recognizes the author(s) of the best paper(s) relating to the adaptation of lubricants and lubricated automotive systems or components presented at an SAE International meeting, or it may recognize an individual for distinguished accomplishments in research on automotive lubricants.

The four were honored for their SAE International technical paper “Investigation of Engine Oil Effect on Abnormal Combustion in Turbocharged Direct Injection-Spark Ignition Engines (Part 2)”

The winners include:
