Basware has expanded its cooperation with a Finnish provider of housing services and signed an agreement on the delivery of comprehensive purchase to pay (P2P) services. The services are powered by Alusta, Basware’s unified cloud-based platform for purchase to pay. The customer is already using Basware’s accounts payable solution, and the cooperation will be expanded to cover the entire purchasing process, catalog services, and inbound and outbound e-invoicing with supplier activation services. In addition, the agreement covers the Basware Analytics for gaining real-time visibility to purchasing and financial indicators, and mobile solution, which enables reviewing and approving purchase orders and invoices regardless of time and place. The value of the agreement exceeds EUR 350,000 over five years.

“Automating the entire purchase to pay process will empower the customer to streamline operations, increase control and cut costs. Basware’s scalable P2P services support the customer’s strong growth strategy, and visual reports provide insights to the entire purchasing process, helping to make better decisions. Expanding the use of e-invoicing services will decrease costs, increase efficiency, and enhance the predictability of cash flows,” says Esa Tihilä, CEO, Basware Corporation. “We are pleased to continue our relationship with our customer and to further expand support to their purchasing and financial operations and continue to improve their core financial processes.”
