Saz’s Hospitality Group Expands to New Walker’s Point Facility

Milwaukee, WI – Saz’s Hospitality Group has outgrown their State Street location. While Saz’s State House Restaurant will remain in the beautiful historic building it’s occupied since opening the doors in 1976, Saz’s Catering division will move operations to a larger facility in Walker’s Point.

“When it became apparent that we had outgrown our current facilities we began an extensive search for the right size space and location,” said Steve Sazama, founder and owner of Saz’s. “We wanted to stay in the city of Milwaukee because for us, that’s home,” Sazama continued.

The new location is needed to facilitate continued quality service to the wide range of customers Saz’s Catering serves in the state. Walkers Point offered the ideal location and size suited for the unique needs of a large scale catering operation.

“It wasn’t just the specific location that made this work, it was the group of people we were privileged to work with,” stated Sazama. “In addition to the enthusiastic support we have received from Alderman Perez and Alderman Murphy, our development team led by Dan Katt of Craft Development, HGA Architects, Berghammer Construction, and The Sigma Group helped bring this deal together and I really couldn’t be happier.” Saz’s financing partners will be Milwaukee based Bank Mutual and Milwaukee Economic Development Corporation.

Saz’s Hospitality Group will move their catering operation to the new facility at 201 W. Walker Ave. in April 2015. Saz’s Hospitality Group caters large-scale events and formal galas at a wide variety of locations including 1451 Renaissance Place, The Historic Pritzlaff Building, Pabst Mansion and, as Sazama’s Fine Catering, at the Marcus Center for Performing Arts.
