PSEi reaches new all-time intraday high

The PSEi climbed to a new all-time intraday high of 7,413.62 on Thursday, September 25. That represents a gain of 58.33 points or 0.79 percent from its closing level the previous day.

“It is good to see the market back at the 7,400 level and trek new territories once again. Even as the index eventually retreated at closing, it is always a positive sign for the market when the index ventures to new highs in terms of gauging its prospective direction,” said PSE President and CEO Hans B. Sicat

The main gauge closed at 7,294.21 down 61.08 points or 0.83 percent. Year to date however, the PSEi is still up 23.84 percent.
