Globe raises P10B through issuance of preferred shares
Globe Telecom, Inc. held a bell ringing ceremony at the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) for successfully raising P10 billion from the issuance of its Series A Non-voting Perpetual Preferred Shares (stock symbol: “GLOPP”).
“I would like to congratulate Globe Telecom for a successful issuance of perpetual preferred shares. I am told that the offering and even the oversubscription option were fully subscribed, a testament to the degree of confidence investors have on the future of the company,” said PSE Chairman Jose T. Pardo in his welcome remarks during the ceremony.
