Eric Pitcher Joins Teq as VP of Software and Services
Huntington, NY, July 29, 2014 Teq, the leading educational technology and professional development firm, today announced that Eric Pitcher has joined the company as Vice President of Software and Services. Mr. Pitcher has extensive experience in software development and program management, with more than 17 years at CA (Computer Associates) in senior software management roles.

An experienced software executive, Mr. Pitcher most recently served at Vice President/Senior Advisor Engineering Program Management and Chief of Staff for CA, where he managed a cross-organizational team, representing 2,500 developers. Prior to that, he was Chief of Staff, Enterprise Management Development at CA. Mr. Pitcher has also served at CA as Vice President Technology, Strategy and Vice President of Product Management. He started his career renting computers and cell phones in the mid 1980s, during his college years. He then went on to co-build and run the distributed systems portion of the data center for Universal Studios Florida. At Universal Studios, he worked on everything from Windows, Netware and Linux to the visitor turn styles, ticketing, and even the ET ride.
He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from University of Central Florida, and an MBA from Dowling College.
