The 2014 Preliminary Report* - 31,761 graduates from 44 colleges and universities in 22 states have been surveyed, and with 26% responding as of May 31, 2014, the market looks good for the class of 2014!

In total, 66% of respondents from undergraduate programs indicated they were engaged in some type of occupation (employment, military service, additional education, or volunteer service).

According to the preliminary data,

American colleges and universities have a valid, nationally-standardized method for finding out what their students are doing after graduation - The Outcomes Survey.

The Outcomes Survey – powered by CSO Research, Inc. – is a turn-key first destination survey system being used by 58 colleges and universities in 29 states to collect career outcomes data on their recent graduates; career outcomes data they can use for accreditation, admissions recruiting, career advising and federal reporting.

*Preliminary results are based on all data collected between May 1 and May 31, 2014, and include data from all respondents. Surveys may be at a variety of stages of data collection.
