Benefitfocus CEO Recognized by South Carolina Department of Commerce

Benefitfocus, Inc. (NASDAQ: BNFT), a leading provider of cloud-based benefits software solutions, announced that President and CEO Shawn Jenkins has been recognized as a South Carolina Ambassador for Economic Development by the South Carolina Department of Commerce. Representing Berkeley County, Jenkins was one of the 46 ambassadors chosen from each county in the state as part of South Carolina’s 23rd Industry Appreciation Week earlier this month as declared in an official proclamation by Gov. Nikki Haley.
