McMurray Stern will be exhibiting Evidence Lockers at the 25th Annual CAPE Training Seminar
SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. - McMurray Stern, Southern California’s leader in innovative storage development and records management solutions, will be exhibiting at the 25th Annual CAPE Training Seminar. The training is designed to help law enforcement and students gain practical and hands-on knowledge of gathering and processing evidence. A wide variety of classes will be offered for attendees and a keynote speaker will present on the last day of the training.
McMurray stern is proud to showcase Evidence Storage Lockers that provide law enforcement with a secure chain of custody for short and long term evidence storage. The lockers keep evidence secure and come in multiple sizes with numerous features to ensure each department/branch of law enforcement has an evidence locker customized to their needs.
Feature Highlights:
- Dual-latching mechanism within the door and frame to eliminate the risk of damage to evidence by any protrusions within the locker itself
- Fully enclosed, individual compartments to prevent cross contamination
- Available in both the Pass Thru Evidence Locker (Separates the evidence drop-off area from the property and evidence room) and the Non-Pass Thru Evidence Locker (Stores evidence securely until a technician or official can retrieve the evidence and move it to a larger storage facility)

The CAPE Training will offer 13 different classes over the course of two days to help individuals better understand the process of obtaining and securing evidence from a crime scene. New techniques and new Department of Justice guidelines will be discussed to ensure up-to-date information regarding the legality of processing evidence. This information will prove the value of Evidence Lockers and McMurray Stern will also be sharing information on its blood drying cabinets, weapons racks, evidence storage, and personal duty lockers.
