Actuate Announces Alliance with MongoDB, Adding Increased NoSQL Big Data Capabilities for BIRT Developers

The collaboration will enable developers to apply Actuate’s secure and scalable analytics capabilities to the document-based MongoDB environment. A popular choice for dynamic queries, MongoDB stores data using a BSON (Binary JSON) data interchange structure for data storage and network transfers. To facilitate the use of the two products together Actuate now offers a MongoDB Open Data Access Plugin for BIRT.
