Notice Regarding YouTube Service on BDP-LX54 and BDP-430 Blu-ray Disc Players

Google is making a change to the delivery of YouTube content such that it can no longer be accessed through the Pioneer BDP-LX54 or BDP-430 Blu-ray Disc Players as of October 31, 2013. Although a YouTube icon may still appear on the screen, attempting to access the service will result in an error message. We hope this change does not cause any inconvenience.

Google is making a change to the delivery of YouTube content such that a firmware update is required for continued access through Pioneer BDP-LX55, BDP-440, BDP-140, BDP-450 and BDP-150 Blu-ray Disc Players, and BCS-HW929, BCS-HF828, BCS-727, BCS-SB626, BCS-FS525, BCS-323, BCS-424, BCS-222 and BCS-FS121 Blu-ray Disc Home Cinema Systems as of October 31, 2013. Although a YouTube icon may still appear on the screen, attempting to access the service will result in an error message.

Firmware updates for continued access by model will be found at the related product pages on the Pioneer web site once available.

Firmware for all models are planned to be available by the end of November.
