Canada: Introducing Ovation™ from Aviva Canada, enhanced protection for high value items
Designed to meet the needs of both customers and brokers
Aviva Canada, one of the country’s leading providers of home, auto, recreational vehicle, group and business insurance, announces the launch of Ovation™, a new choice in insurance coverage designed specifically for high-value homes, vehicles and possessions.
“After hearing from brokers that there is a growing demand for a distinctive level of products and services for high-value items, we set out to design a product to suit that need,” said Maurice Tulloch, Aviva Canada President and CEO. “Ovation™ is a best-in-class offering that addresses the needs of both customers and our broker partners.”
With Ovation™, customers will have their own claims support number which is directed to a team that has been exclusively assigned to them, 24 hours a day, any day. The team is committed to helping customers restore their distinctive homes and repair or replace its contents, whether it’s down to the home’s finest custom details or exclusive collections of artwork, wine or jewelry. Ovation™ is also designed to respect customer preferences with enhanced features such as the option of a cash settlement, the ability to consult on a repair or service provider and no asset depreciation on damaged or destroyed items.
For auto coverage, Ovation™ customers are provided a courtesy vehicle that reflects what they’re accustomed to along with an optional driving record protection. With leisure and lifestyle items, Aviva Canada partners with recognized market leaders. These leaders include Hagerty Canada LLC. for classic cars, Nautimax® for high-value boats and sister company Aviva Elite for recreational vehicle coverage.
Ovation™ also focuses on loss prevention including home inspection with written recommendations for ways to enhance the protection of the family and the home. Included in each policy is an industry-exclusive mitigation provision that will supply the tools to prevent future claims and distress. This is a commitment not just to pay for damages to a home, but also assist in the prevention of further distress.
Ovation™ will also protect customers’ wealth and public and professional profile through Umbrella Liability coverage and enhanced identity theft protection. This means protecting unrecoverable assets and being prepared for the unexpected, whether that is at home or while travelling the world.
Ovation™ customers will benefit from Aviva Canada’s experience, infrastructure, competitive premiums and superior claims support.
For brokers, Aviva Canada’s team of dedicated underwriters are on standby to provide real-time underwriting and policy administration service. The team is committed to providing a high-value broker response with superior efficiency that is unparalleled in the industry, as demonstrated in the recent heavy rain catastrophe in Toronto.
After a successful debut in Ontario over the spring, Aviva Canada is now making Ovation™ available to the rest of Canada. The product is now available in British Columbia and will come to the remaining provinces in the fall/winter of 2013 and early 2014.
