A&E Watches Ships Ferrari Club of America Watches

SAN FRANCISCO, California (July 26th, 2013) - A&E Watches has officially shipped the Ferrari Club of America’s (FCOA) 50th Anniversary watches to be worn at the upcoming celebratory club meet. Twenty-three gold watches totaling close to $30k dollars have been shipped to club officials who will distribute the watches among club members.

“I wanted to create something classic with a modern feel” says Avi Dayan, the remaining founder and owner of A&E Watches located in the SOMA district of San Francisco, Ca. “It’s a great honor to be approached by the Ferrari Club of America to put such a watch into production.”

The watch was designed at the A&E Watches offices and sent to ACHOR SA of Switzerland for production. The Swiss company is know for their limited edition runs of high quality luxury watches. 3 prototypes were creating before being approved by the FCOA. The final 23 watches were produced based off of the 3rd prototype which has now been shipped out for delivery.

The design and development was a joint effort between A&E Watches and FCOA. ACHOR provided the materials and insight to make it function as a high end Swiss Luxury watch should incorporating the Valijoux 7750 Chronograph movement that watch companies such as Brietling only slightly modify for their movement platforms.

The 23 members with their 50th Anniversary watches will debut them at the 50th anniversary FCOA meet on Elkhart Lake in Wisconsin, July 30 to August 4, 2013. It will be the first true test for the watches sitting next to their Italian designed counter parts who were the inspiration of the design.
