ADELAIDE, Australia July, 2013 – Stacey Copas is all about inspiration. Her latest piece of inspiration comes from her new world ranking. According to the IPC Official World Athletics Rankings 2013, for the period between January and December, Stacey Copas was in 4th place in the world for the Women’s Discus Throw Category, Outdoor and Road. This achievement would be impressive in most people’s books, but what makes this milestone extra-special for Stacey is the fact that she is a quadriplegic.  Stacey is committed to inspire others simply through her life choices and her lifetime achievements.

Stacey, the Founder of Resilience For Results, is more than just an athlete. She is an inspirational speaker, a trainer and a coach - teaching people how exactly to ‘bounce back’-by equipping them with skills of how to be resilient and successful no matter what obstacles that may come their way. www.staceycopas.com/

Stacey shares, “Resilience For Results™ focuses on a specific area of interest in building resilience and that is to inspire and mentor women with disabilities to become entrepreneurs. In particular, I teach Business Women how to ‘Turn Their Problems Into Profits’ using my unique resilience training system – Resilience For Results™.”

Building Resilience For Results™ has been a whirlwind for Stacey—one that she wouldn’t change if she could have. Leaving her previous employment only a year ago in May 2012—a week before getting married, Stacey has faced a number of setbacks but with them has come opportunities. Not only has Stacey concentrated on building her empire- Resilience For Results™, but she has also worked on a few side projects along the way. These include teaching business to people with disabilities, joining a research project on disability inclusion in Cambodia, studying and also taking up competitive athletics at the age of 34. In doing so, Stacey shows people that there is no excuse for ‘giving up’; as she teaches them how to be resilient and successful no matter the circumstances.

Aside from speaking, training, and writing, Stacey has a passion for improving the lives of people with disabilities in developing countries. She looks forward to going overseas again so that she can continue teaching peoplehow to be resilient and successful. www.staceycopas.com/

This new sporting adventure of hers has already yielded Silver at the National level, Gold in South Australia State Championships and Silver at Queensland State Championships. Her latest victory has spurred Stacey to become even more inspired and to try harder. Track racing is on the horizon in the near future as Stacey continues to push her comfort zones to their limits and in doing so she hopes to inspire others and embrace her mantra that anything is possible if they just believe.

One of Stacey raving fans relates, “Her talk will have you crying, laughing, and going home totally inspired.  Stacey’s story is a shining example of resilience.”
