Saz’s State House Restaurant is introducing a new menu featuring seasonal salads, appetizers and entrées in addition to Saz’s Signature Barbecue Selections.

Milwaukee, WI — Saz’s State House Restaurant is welcoming summer with a new menu featuring seasonal salads, appetizers and entrées in addition to Saz’s Signature Barbecue Selections. The menu will debut Monday, June 3rd.
 
 “We’ve created delicious new dishes like our BBQ Brisket Bruschetta, Asian BBQ Salmon, Saz’s “Juicy Lucy” Stuffed Burger and Avocado Caprese Salad,” said Chef Michael Paris. “And of course we continue to smoke and slow cook our signature items in-house, and our culinary team seeks out local suppliers and sustainable ingredients for everything we can.”
 
“We decided to move to a single menu format, which allows us to offer more choices to our guests throughout the day,” stated Steve Sazama, alias Saz. The new format has entrée items and more appetizer selections available for the lunch crowd and a great selection of sandwiches for evening diners. Saz continued, “what used to be normal lunch or dinner items are now requested by our customers any time of the day, and we want to provide what they want, when they want it.”
 
Ben Bauer, General Manager of Saz’s restaurant, pointed out that they also have a separate Gluten Free Menu that patrons can order from. “Many of our customers have gone to gluten-free diets and we want to make it easy for them to order appropriate items. We searched out and found gluten free rolls that are fresh and flavorful so we are happy to offer them as an option on sandwiches.”
 
Saz’s is centrally located in a historic building on State Street at Hawley Road. The restaurant is known for award-winning barbecued ribs and is popular with sports fans who enjoy a bite there before or after a game, and the convenient shuttle service to Brewers, Bucks and Marquette games throughout the year.
