U.K.: Citibank Links with Legal & General to Provide Protection Products

London – Citibank is partnering with Legal & General to offer protection products to customers in the U.K. beginning August 1, 2006. Citibank will initially offer Legal & General’s term assurance, critical illness and income protection cover for customers looking to protect themselves and their families, and plans to increase its range of services going forward.

The new range of life insurance products is part of Citibank’s broader wealth management and banking service, which provides customers with investment advice, current and savings accounts, a free financial health check, and four London branches open with a full counter service 8-8 Monday-Saturday.
