300,000 International Students Connect with Studying English Abroad via Facebook

More than 300,000 fans (growing by 10,000 per week) of ELS Educational Services on Facebook are engaging in a global dialogue about studying English abroad and higher education.   ELS provides international students with the opportunity to achieve a college degree while studying English abroad at one of its 70 English Language Centers located in the USA, Canada, Europe, Australia, China and Malaysia, the majority of which are located on university campuses.  
 
International Students who participate in the ELS Facebook Page learn about student life abroad, English language tips, holidays and cultural customs. Students also engage with ELS on Twitter, FourSquare and watch informational videos on YouTube.

In addition to ELS’s student success on Facebook, it continues to build a presence on Twitter and LinkedIn to reach its professional constituents and colleagues in higher education. ELS utilizes these social media platforms to help establish their presence for International Student Recruitment, a leading source for universities who wish to bring international students to their campuses.  Students who complete the ELS English program can apply to more than 650 partner universities worldwide.
