Lookers Nominated For Dealer Website of the Year

Lookers Group has been nominated for the Dealer Website of the Year Award at the AM Online Innovation Awards 2013. Having received the accolade in 2012, the nomination gives the UK-wide auto retailer a chance to hold onto its crown for a second year running.

The Award ceremony, which is being held on 20th February at the ICC in Birmingham, acknowledges outstanding performance and innovation within the motoring industry and recognises the talent of individuals, teams and dealers that have contributed to the progression of the trade.  

Lookers’ website launched in 2011 and has continually evolved since then to improve the customer experience. Developments to various site areas include a new dedicated leasing website and AMG section for Lookers Mercedes-Benz, an electric and hybrid section on the Charles Hurst site and Hurst Car Buyer, a quick and easy way for customers in Northern Ireland to have their car valued. Other improvements include enhanced offers sections, which present even more information about deals and extended model detail pages that give customers a fuller experience of their chosen vehicle.

The new and used car dealer has also added the Audi and Dacia brands to its extensive catalog in the past year, meaning customers have even more choice when it comes to selecting a new car.

Changes won’t stop there, however; Lookers has plenty in the pipeline to provide more for its clients over the coming year. Group marketing manager, Chloe Gerber said, “We’re thrilled to have been nominated for Dealer Website of the Year for the second year running. The recognition proves that our site is providing a great service to our customers and that we’re successfully addressing their needs. We have big plans for the website in 2013 and will be making it even easier for buyers and owners alike to have their needs met within a shorter time frame.”
