Indoor Environment & Energy Exposition Offers Opportunities for Attendees to Learn about IAQ Test Kits
IAQ Index™ provides easy to use test kits to help identify potential health hazards and indoor pollutants in schools, homes and offices.
On February 27th, thousands of members of the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA), Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) and Residential Energy Services Network (RESNET) will come together for the Indoor Environment and Energy Expo (IE3). The event takes place over several days at the Orlando Marriott World Center.
With approximately 2500 people expected to be in attendance, the event promises to be one of this year’s best networking and educational events for professionals involved with indoor air quality (IAQ) issues. Many attendees are coming to learn about new technologies and products that can improve the way they conduct business.
Bruce Jacobs, CIH, President of IAQ Index, will be in attendance to do just that. “Several years ago I saw the need for a scientifically based test kit to identify indoor air quality pollutants,” he reported. “Since founding IAQ Index, many IAQ professionals and companies involved with HVAC services have discovered that test kits can be a valuable tool in their businesses. The kits can quickly help to determine if there are problems with mold, radon, CO, CO2, VOCs and formaldehyde in a building. Many companies attending next week’s event provide solutions for residential and commercial property owners and tenants when these pollutants are present. Kits from IAQ Index can help companies identify IAQ problems and later show that problems have been resolved,” Mr. Jacobs continued.

Attendees of the Indoor Environment and Energy Expo are invited to meet with Mr. Jacobs to learn how they can utilize the test kits offered by IAQ Index to support their current products or services or as an additional revenue stream for companies interested in offering the kits directly to consumers.
To contact Mr. Jacobs to learn more about utilizing test kits to support an existing business or about opportunities to sell the kits directly to consumers, please send an email to info@IAQIndex.com or call (888) 259-3883. To learn more about IAQ Index visit http://www.IAQIndex.com.
About IAQ Index
IAQ Index was developed by a Certified Industrial Hygienist with decades of experience dealing with indoor air quality issues. IAQ Index was developed as a health-based, easy-to-understand, air quality index that is calculated from data generated for various parameters commonly measured during IAQ surveys. The approach is similar to the EPA’s Air Quality Index that has been used historically to communicate the risks posed by common pollutants in the ambient air.
