ChemImage Founder and CTO to Present at 24th James L. Waters Annual Symposium

PITTSBURGH, PA — ChemImage Corp. is pleased to announce that its Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Patrick Treado, Ph.D., will be presenting at the 24th James L. Waters Annual Symposium taking place on March 18, 2013 during the Pittcon Conference & Expo in Philadelphia, PA.  This year’s symposium will be recognizing the commercialization of chemical imaging spectroscopy.
 
During the symposium, the speakers will discuss the development and commercialization of chemical imaging which has enabled advancements in fields such as pharmaceutical analysis and polymer characterization.  The speakers will also provide the audience with a look at where chemical imaging stands today and what the future holds for new applications for this technique.
 
Dr. Treado’s presentation entitled, “Birth to Young Adulthood of Molecular Chemical Imaging,” will focus on the formation and emergence of the chemical imaging field over the past two decades, and its importance as a 21st century measurement tool.

A unique component of the Pittcon Technical Program, the James L. Waters Annual Symposium explores the origin, development, implementation, and commercialization of established and significant scientific instrumentation. Its objective is to recognize workers and the development and application of instrumentation by preserving the history of the important contributions, as well as the cooperation between inventors, scientist, engineers, entrepreneurs and marketing organizations.
