American Lighting Announces High Output, Value-Priced LED Technology

DENVER, Colo.—November 27, 2012— American Lighting, a manufacturer and distributor of lighting technologies for residential, commercial and specialty markets, today announced two new residential lighting products that utilize high output and value-priced LED lighting technology. The LED 5630 Puck Light and the LED Complete Under Cabinet offer affordable, energy-efficient and long-lasting lighting for a variety of applications. The LED 5630 Puck Light is available in a multitude of trim options, and the LED Complete is available in five Energy Star rated lengths that suit multiple types of installations.

Easy-to-install, the LED 5630 Puck Light and the LED Complete Under Cabinet provide for high color-rendering light output using the latest LED technology. The low profile design of each light allows for simplified installation and operation in a variety of locations including work areas, displays, under cabinet applications and any tight space that needs warm white, bright light.

The LED 5630 Puck Light and the LED Complete Under Cabinet provide our customers with great task or accent lighting alternatives,” said Jason Elrod, director of sales, American Lighting. “What’s more, both are available to customers at up to 30 percent less than other similar LED options.”

Both fixtures use high-efficiency LEDs that mimic incandescent lights, rendering a warm white light that saves at least 85 percent energy usage versus traditional Halogen or Xenon lighting.

Additional features of the LED 5630 Puck Light include:

• Warm white (3000K) light with 78-82 CRI mimics incandescent
• High light output, approximately 125 lumens per puck, uses only 2.9 watts
• Produces minimal heat, keeping displays cooler
• Provides for easy installation with no lamps to replace or drivers to install
• The plastic housing is available in three finishes: Black, Nickel and White
• LM-79 certified and UL listed for the U.S. and Canada
• Available individually or in three or five puck kits, including hub connector, plug-in driver and inline dimmer

• Available in five Energy Star rated sizes including 8 inches, 12 inches, 18 inches, 24 inches and 32 inches in White and Dark Bronze finishes
• Uses 85-90 percent less energy and has an average life of 6 times longer than conventional xenon or halogen under cabinets
• Highly efficient 3000K LEDs provide an incandescent-like look, rendering warm white light (82 CRI)
• Modular, linkable design for maximum flexibility and quick installation
• Low profile, 0.96 inches high, enables virtually hidden installation
• Dimmable with most standard incandescent dimmers
• ETL Listed for the U.S. and Canada
