Exciting times for Ford in 2013

With the new year fast approaching, Ford is ramping up its new releases with a selection of models that demonstrate the carmaker’s adeptness at engineering. Amongst the new additions are MPVs, superminis, family cars and much more.
 
The expected Ford range comes after an impressive year in which Ford has established the innovative new B-MAX and Focus ST models.
 
The new Ford Fiesta is due to make its debut in dealerships across the UK very soon. The latest incarnation of the popular model incorporates style and technology to get excited about, with some impressive additions that make it better than ever. Amongst the enhancements, you’ll find equipment aimed at improving fuel economy and efficiency, as well as driver-assistance tools and gentle restyling to make it easy on the eye.
 
Fans of the Fiesta will also love the new Ford EcoSport – to be released in 2013 – which adapts the former’s design into a crossover format that sets a style precedent whilst keeping a watchful eye on Mother Nature. You’ll enjoy the sporty and rugged experience that’s as adapted to the great outdoors as it is to urban life.
 
The new Ford Mondeo is arriving as well, with just as much style and substance as the Fiesta. The family car is back with a bang, delivering all the space and style that you remember but with the revolutionary EcoBoost engine system that makes it as clean and green as possible. Inside, you’ll still enjoy the comfort and technology that the Mondeo is renowned for.
 
Also fresh and new on the scene will be the Ford Mondeo Hybrid, an efficient new model that reflects Ford’s commitment to delivering the latest, most forward-thinking automotive technology. The restyled Mondeo Hybrid will include a similarly suave front grille to the one featured on the new Ford Fiesta, and under the bonnet it’ll house a range of efficient and economic drive technologies: it’ll initially come as a hybrid and a plug-in hybrid, able to hit a top speed of 62mph using just electric power. A 2.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine will be on hand to aid the electric power and supply great performance that you can rely on.
 
Perhaps one of the most unexpected announcements from Ford is the arrival of the Ford Mustang on European soil for the first time. The car – popular in the United States for years – will be brought to the UK by Blue Oval and produced using new sheet metal. The announcement by Ford doesn’t indicate whether the new model will be a redesigned version of the US model or be a carbon copy.
