Double success For Westover Kia
Good news for Westover Kia – the Korean manufacturer represented by the Westover Group in Dorset and Wiltshire has been named Car Manufacturer of the Year 2012 by Which?, the UK’s leading consumer association.
It seems, however, that local people are ahead of Which? when it comes to spotting the benefits of Kia. Westover Kia has seen a staggering 34 per cent increase in registrations for the first six months of 2012 compared to last year. Dorset drivers have definitely caught on quicker than their regional rivals, with Kia recording a slightly lower, but still very healthy, 23 per cent increase in total UK sales.
The Which? awards celebrate and reward the very best businesses in the UK – recognising companies that consistently get it right, scoring highly in independent research and testing carried out by Which?
“Kia scored especially well for customer satisfaction levels and vehicle reliability in the Which? awards,” says Gary Clark who heads up Westover’s Kia operation. “Coming shortly after the Kia Sportage’s success in the JD Power customer satisfaction survey – where it topped the tables in all five categories in which it was judged - this is another great endorsement for Kia.
“The company’s doing an impeccable job of delivering stylish and reliable cars at an affordable price, each one backed by a cracking seven-year warranty. The fact that Kia is prepared to offer its customers more back-up than any other manufacturer shows the level of confidence it has in its cars. Combined with the reassurance that comes from recent award wins and I’m not surprised to see our sales taking an upward leap.
“Everything indicates that Kia’s the one to watch and we expect to see more successes from Kia – as well as more happy customers - in the months ahead!”
