The new BMW 3 Series Touring is ready to make a late 2012 debut

German motoring brand BMW will debut its brand new 3 Series Touring this month, showcasing the model at the Frankfurt Motor Show before announcing a Europe-wide release. The vehicle will be available from authorised BMW dealerships throughout the United Kingdom, including Douglas Park in Scotland.
 
The biennial motoring event is the logical choice for BMW, and the manufacturer will display the 3 Series Touring from September 20th to 27th, the full length of the show. Demonstrating traditional BMW style with the classic shape of a luxury car, the model is one that visitors to the event will be eager to see up close.
 
BMW has significantly upgraded and refined the latest addition to the 3 Series. The Touring model claims a class-leading load space of 495-litres, and demonstrates the towing capacity for caravans, trailers, and sporting equipment. Every engine that the manufacturer provides for the vehicle has been turbocharged to produce an impressive level of power, using innovative EfficientDynamics and an energy-saving Start-Stop system to guarantee the 3 Series Touring a higher level of fuel economy. Dependent on the engine and model selected, the brand new BMW can produce up to 258bhp and achieve a 0-60 speed of just 5.6 seconds.
 
To offer even more convenience to drivers and passengers alike, the 3 Series Touring is built with split rear seats. With the potential to fold down in a number of combinations, the seats provide the ideal amount of space in the cabin for luggage, child seats, and different numbers of rear seat passengers. The model’s handling is improved by a perfect 50/50 weight balance across the chassis, a highly efficient gearbox and adaptable suspension.
