New Skellee Series of Story Books Released
Skellee is a new series of children’s story books for kids in the age range of 2 - 7, with a modern day folklore hero theme. It has been released onto the market in the Kindle format.
New children’s story books have been introduced into the market. The children’s stories are part of the new Skellee Rescue Service series. This is going to be a series of 26 books with each individual Skellee character being named after one of the letters of the alphabet. These were created to appeal to children in the age bracket of 2 – 7. Each of the Skellee characters has a unique ’tool’ which enables rescues to be carried out all around the world.
The series has been developed with a view of creating a modern day folklore hero for young children to give them the pleasure of believing that there will always be someone who can help them, from anywhere around the world, should they need. Perfect bedtime stories!
The children are aware of how to contact the Skellee Rescue Service. The parents are not privy to this information but are soon informed by the children. Asked why she created the Skellee Rescue Service series, the author, AnneMarie Callan explained,
“Skellee was a character I created many years ago when telling stories to my first grandchild. Years later I told these same stories to my second grandchild. At first there was only one Skellee character for the three or four stories I had. Over the last few years as I was blessed with two more grandchildren, I created more stories. In fact, now, almost daily now another story will pop into my head inspired by a comment, a vision that caught my eye or an article I read. Eventually more Skellees had to be created, after all, how could one Skellee be in two different places at the same time? The Skellee Rescue Service was born"
