Yuvee, Inc. announces new features for WebHub® (www.webhub.mobi).
Yuvee released a set of new and improved features for WebHub. WebHub is a cloud application, meaning that WebHub is used directly at its website (www.webhub.mobi) from any device with an up-to-date browser, including smartphones. We call WebHub “your home base for a richer, simpler Web”℠. WebHub offers “one-thumb surfing”℠ from touchscreen smartphones.
WebHub’s new features include: (1) a simplified user registration process, (2) “information” or “i” keys for each URL link key, and (3) user-notes area specific to each URL link key in a user’s private WebHub.
The “information” keys provide a user with a short, clear description of a site before a user goes to the site. For instance, in Music Hub, there are links to Spotify, Rhapsody, We7, 8tracks and many more top music sites. Many people may not know what is different about these sites. The “information” keys let a user understand what each of the sites is about before the user clicks through to them. This both simplifies and enriches a user’s browsing experience.
WebHub organizes the Web into “hubs” and into categories within Hubs. There are “hubs” for almost any interest and any type of Web surfer: news junkies, general surfers, shoppers, sports fans, search fanatics, etc. WebHub also lets users create their own, private, personalized and unique Hubs and categories. WebHub is powered by our patented “NeoKeys™” technology. Every link key in every “Hub” and “Category” combination has an “information” key with a description about that link.
Tim Higginson, founder of Yuvee, says: “These new features substantially increase the scope of value that WebHub offers to mobile Web users, and users who surf the Web during the day from multiple devices, such as smartphones, tablets and laptops.”
