This week, BooksOnBoard will match any competitor’s price on all eligible ebook titles. Customers who find a better price for an ebook elsewhere are urged to contact support@booksonboard.com with the title, author’s name, the competitor’s name, and the competitor’s price. Once verified, BooksOnBoard will set its price to match. “We guarantee our readers the lowest possible price,” LiVolsi said.

Due to the Agency Pricing Model, not all ebooks are eligible. “Agency publishers set a fixed price for their ebooks, and ebook retailers are unable to offer discounts, rewards, or promotions on those titles,” LiVolsi explained. “Agency titles comprise only a small part of BooksOnBoard’s catalog; this promotion, as well as the many other weekly and monthly promotions that BooksOnBoard runs, applies to approximately 75% of the ebooks BooksOnBoard has to offer.”

Agency titles are marked with a red diamond when BooksOnBoard customers choose an ebook format to add to their shopping cart.

“BooksOnBoard does more than sell non-agency books at the best possible price: it is the only ebook retailer to give customers Rewards Dollars with every non-agency purchase,” LiVolsi added. “Rewards Dollars add up quickly, as loose change tends to do, and can be applied to future eligible purchases.
