Total Diving - Montreal Scuba, a PADI Career Development Center in Montreal, Quebec, Canada announced today a personalized mentoring program for PADI Divemasters
MONTREAL, QUEBEC, CANADA (February 16, 2012) – Total Diving - Montreal Scuba, a PADI Career Development Center located in Montreal, Quebec, Canada announced today an improved PADI Divemaster training program including a personalized mentoring program, as well as the new professional scuba diving buoyancy program announced recently by Total Diving.
“What I find rewarding at Total Diving is the depth of experience with a diversified team of dive professionals in recreational and technical diving. Divemaster and instructor candidates benefit from counselling and coaching from a team of PADI Course Directors and Instructors with varied skills and experience. It’s not a one-man show! This advanced level of experience and mentoring gives the new divemaster and scuba diving instructor a complete toolbox of knowledge and skills to start a successful career in the dive industry” said Sebastien Savignac, PADI Course Director.
With this new PADI Divemaster training program in Montreal, the candidates will continue to benefit from the traditional one-on-one scuba career counselling sessions to plan their career in the dive industry. In addition, at the start of their Divemaster training, each candidate will be assigned a personal mentor who will monitor their progress and be available for coaching, even if they registered in a Divemaster group course.
Dive professionals taking their PADI Divemaster course at Total Diving also benefit from unlimited access to Total Diving’s pools and open water dive sites, to allow them to further master their scuba skills and perform as many internship sessions as they want. “If they want to be the best, we’ll help them achieve it!” declared Darcy Kieran, PADI Course Director and President of Total Diving.
Total Diving has unlimited access to an indoor tropical pool at a Holiday Inn hotel near Montreal’s airport as well as about 25 hours a week of pool time in various public, college and university pools from the West Island to the East-End of Montreal. With Total Diving, divemaster and instructor candidates can also benefit from as much dive time as they want in a local Montreal scuba diving quarry located a few minutes from the Total Diving dive center.
All mentorship activities will be under the continued supervision of Darcy Kieran, a PADI Course Director with a track record of successes in the dive industry.
“I am impressed with the quality, experience, dedication and passion of the team assembled for this mission” declared Darcy Kieran.
“All scuba diving training centers offer one-on-one counselling to instructor candidates before they register in instructor courses. We’re starting the mentoring earlier and following up on it.” added Darcy Kieran.
