The Snugg Sees Drastic Sales Increase After Revamping Their Ecommerce Websites

After making extensive changes to their order process and making their site security more obvious to wary consumers, they have seen sales increase considerably.

When asked about the changes, The Snugg’s Managing Director, Mr Richard Mercer, stated that:

“Sometimes it can be difficult to get consumers to part with their card details online. With the increasing number of scares we see in the news concerning card-fraud and security issues, the average consumer has become more wary of parting with this information. What we had to do was to instate measures to make them feel safer about shopping with us”

The site has seen a complete overhaul of their order process to make it more simple and user-friendly; further to this they have integrated their shopping cart with the industry Ecommerce payment giant, Pay-Pal. As a globally recognized brand, it was thought that the integration would make Pay-Pal users more inclined to complete a transaction on the site.

“So far, it seems to be working. Our sales revenues are increasing and many of these new sales can be attributed directly to people transacting via our new Pay-Pal payment feature. Those with existing Pay-Pal accounts will already have their personal information stored so there’s no need for them to worry about re-entering their information on our site. In conjunction with the newly overhauled order process, we’re finding that transactions are occurring more quickly and efficiently than ever and it’s safe to say that the whole user experience has improved as a result” adds Mr Mercer.

Further to these changes, new security certificates from Comodo were added to demonstrate to users that the Snugg is a verified retailer and that users are insured against the misuse of their personal information for added peace of mind. 

“We’ve been selling quality iPad 2 Cases and tablet covers to thousands of people through a number of channels and many of our past customers come back to us for updated cases for new tablet releases. We want prospective consumers to trust us in the same way and we will do all we possibly can to facilitate that. We have extensive and plentiful 5 star reviews on Amazon and we’re looking to use more review sites in future to help new customers come to a decision on whether or not to purchase; these will also serve as a feedback tool for our own purposes so that we know what we’re doing well, and what can be improved upon” states Mr Mercer.
