Yuvee, Inc. announces the issuance of second US Patent for a mobile joystick for mobile devices

Yuvee announces that the US Patent and Trademark Office issued US Patent 7,932,841 for Yuvee’s “mast-based detachable controller device.”  This is the second patent Yuvee has received for this technology which enables a new level of user interface control for smartphones, tablets and other devices.   

This technology offers a way to enrich and simplify the user controls for a variety of mobile applications using a powerful, detachable joystick.  It also offers the ability to have content/media/apps pre-loaded on it, so the joystick control surfaces can be optimized from the start for the specific app.  

This technology gives device manufacturers a powerful, new way to differentiate their devices, such as tablets, from their competition on the most important grounds: the user interface.  It is easy to deploy as it can attach to a variety of existing ports, so no hardware changes are required on the device side.
