NJ BMW Dealer to Provide Pace Car for New Jersey Marathon
EATONTOWN, N.J. – Circle BMW, one of the region’s leading BMW dealerships, today announced that they are the official automobile sponsor of the New Jersey Marathon Festival set to take place in Long Branch, N.J. on Sunday, May 1, 2011.Circle BMW will pace the race with a brand new BMW 3 series convertible.
Hosted by the US Road Sports and Entertainment Group, the 15th Annual New Jersey Marathon Festival is a three day event, starting on Friday, April 29, 2011 and ending with the marathon on May 1st, that includes an exposition, family fun races, marathon, half marathon and team relay.

In March 2011, US Road Sports and Entertainment Group acquired the New Jersey Marathon and Running Festival from previous owners BDO Management. US Road Sports currently owns and operates the following events: ING Miami Marathon, Publix Georgia Marathon, Chicago Half Marathon, 13.1 Marathon® Series, First Watch Sarasota Half Marathon and Relay, Escape to Miami and Run Miami.

A U.S.A. Track & Field-certified course, the NJ Marathon begins and ends on the Long Branch oceanfront promenade, just north of Pier Village and the Ocean Place Resort & Spa. The course turns inland just past the one mile mark and tours through the Jersey Shore towns of Monmouth Beach, Oceanport, Deal, Allenhurst, Loch Arbor, Asbury Park and Ocean Grove. Runners will travel through a variety of scenic neighborhoods and business districts.
Prior to the races, NJ Marathon participants are invited to pick up their bib, timing chip, goody bag and t-shirt at the 2011 NJ Marathon Festival Health & Fitness Expo at Monmouth Park, 175 Oceanport Avenue, Oceanport, NJ 07757. The comprehensive two-day running related expo is free and open to the public. Vendors and event sponsors will be on-hand selling and displaying race-related items. Circle BMW will display the official pace car and other BMW models at the Expo. Expo Hours are 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 29th and 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30th.
The weekend of events benefits numerous local causes including The Ladacin Network, Autism Family Times and Kick Cancer Overboard (KCO). Runners (and walkers) are encouraged to raise funds for charitable organizations while participating in one of the NJ Marathon events.
