Bayer Business Services agrees international cooperation with Deutsche Post

Tuesday - April 25, 2006, Bayer Business Services and Deutsche Post have entered into a global cooperation in the area of invoice receipt processing. This cooperation will strengthen Bayer Business Services’ integrated services for finance and accounting.

The framework agreement signed on March 29 covers a package of Deutsche Post services for processing invoices received at Bayer. Deutsche Post provides international handling of services such as processing and scanning of incoming invoices, reading invoice data, reconciliation with master, order and goods receipt data, and physical archiving. The future volume of the collaboration is estimated at over a million documents per year.
