Alain Heureux to take part in Iceland Internet marketing conference
Alain Heureux, President and CEO of IAB Europe, has been announced as a guest speaker during this year’s Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference (RIMC). The Internet marketing and social media conference is scheduled for 11th March 2011 in Reykjavik, Iceland at the Smaralind Business Centre.
Alain Heureux has been active in marketing since more than 20 years creating several service companies across Europe: the CPM Group (1987-1997) part of the Diversified Agency Services from Omnicom specialised in field-marketing, direct marketing and sales promotion (www.uk.cpm-int.com); a Webagency called Virtuology (1998-2003) active in Brussels, London and Paris (www.virtuology.com); and a digital dialogue agency named Tagora (2004-2007) acting in several European markets (www.tagora.com) part of JWT from Wpp.
Over the years he has been very active in professional associations. Alain created the field-marketing association in the early nineties called ADMH-IFMA, and today is the President of the interactive and digital marketing trade association called the Interactive Advertising Bureau IAB, Belgium; he is also the President of IAB Europe.
Currently, Alain is creating The Egg, the ‘Communication Nest’, in Brussels together with the entire associative world of the media and marketing communication industry building a unique location of 15.000m2 dedicated to Creativity, Innovation and Technologies.
