Chilean Miners and Rescuers Attend CNN Heroes in Los Angeles

In recognition of a story that captivated millions of people around the globe, CNN is pleased to announce a special guest appearance for this year’s “CNN Heroes” with all 33 miners who were trapped for 69 days in a Chilean mine and five of their rescuers. “CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute” spotlights everyday people who are changing the world, and the broadcast will air on Thursday, Nov. 25 on CNN/U.S., CNN International and CNN en Español. Hosted by CNN anchor Anderson Cooper from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, the program will honor the Top 10 CNN Heroes out of 10,000 nominations from more than 100 countries.
