IEQ Testing for LEED Certification

As part of the completion process, LEED certification requires either flushing of a building’s air volume or documentation of acceptable environmental quality (EQ) conditions through baseline indoor environmental quality testing. Flushing or air testing is performed after completion of construction and prior to building occupancy. Testing is conducted according to protocols consistent with the United States EPA Compendium of Methods for the Determination of Air Pollutants in Indoor Air.
