Nudist Beaches Replace Pet Friendly Holiday Homes

In a recent survey Compareaway, the home of cheap deals on holiday rentals, discovered that over a quarter of British holiday makers said that they would like to go naked in the sun. Of 1,000 people questioned by www.Compareaway.co.uk, 27 per cent said that they had either sunbathed naked or would like to do so. The survey revealed that over a third, (35 per cent) of under 30’s liked to get sand in all of the wrong places.

It was not just the under 30’s that liked to bare all in the sun, as 14% of the over 40’s surveyed said that they liked to sunbathe naked by the privacy of their own private pool while staying in holiday villas. This contrasted sharply with the under 30’s who said that they liked to show off their bodies in public on one of the many excellent nudist beaches across Europe. Of this group the favorite activity was beach volley ball and the most popular nudist beaches were in France and Spain.

In the past people used to be more concerned as to whether the holiday home could accommodate a pet but now it seems to be more a case of ‘can I get an all over tan’.”
