Stainless steel equipment provider Teknomek achieves great success at Foodex exhibition
Teknomek, the stainless steel product and equipment provider, received very positive feedback from visitors at the recent Foodex exhibition. Customers commented that the extensive selection of its market leading stainless steel equipment and furniture on display was unique in the exhibition.
The Foodex exhibition, recognised as the UK’s leading showcase for the Food Industry, took place between 21-24 March 2010 at Birmingham’s NEC indoor arena and convention centre. Teknomek’s stand at the exhibition generated particular interest for customers with the quality and value of the company’s own-manufactured utility sink with pre-rinse. Teknomek was able to show many new products for the exhibition, including an enclosed wash trough, seating bench with hygiene divide and a small hand wash sink.
Lucy Cook, Head of Marketing for Teknomek said, “We’re delighted at the large number of sales leads generated: we have plenty of new customers to welcome into the Teknomek customer base. We always saw the exhibition as a great opportunity to meet our loyal customers and to introduce our products to new customers.”
Teknomek also saw success with the product development and purchasing teams, who have built upon the feedback from the exhibitions new product launches to introduce many new product lines to the range. Teknomek is launching five new lines in April alone, two of which are product firsts for the company. These include a resin hand sink, bacterial build up prevention aids and metal detectable items.
