UVDI to Exhibit Innovative UV and Molecular Filtration Solutions at Nation’s Largest Dedicated IAQ Conference
UltraViolet Devices, Inc. (UVDI), a leading provider of ultraviolet (UV) and molecular filtration technologies for the indoor air quality (IAQ) market, will be exhibiting at the 2010 Indoor Air Expo in Tampa, Florida this March 7 - 9. The expo is associated with the Indoor Air Quality Association’s (IAQA) 13th annual conference held in conjunction with the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) who are celebrating their 42nd annual conference.
The event is the principal industry conference for the nation’s largest specialized association of indoor air quality professionals dealing with mold and other indoor airborne contaminants. UVDI is pleased to be exhibiting and presenting their innovative UV technologies that:
• Provide improved IAQ through simultaneous airstream and surface disinfection.
• Reduce HVAC energy consumption by maintaining clean coils.
• Lower HVAC maintenance costs by eliminating costly coil cleaning.
UVDI will also be presenting their Sparks Technology line of molecular filtration products used to remove harmful VOCs, odors and contaminants from air. Their proprietary BPS (Bonded Particulate Structure) technology entails binding activated carbon in a monolithic structure using specific polymers that maintain a very high level of open carbon pore structure. This provides high contaminant removal and an extended service life, resulting in exceptional filter performance.
IAQ and air conditioning professionals attend the Indoor Air Expo each year to learn about the latest products that improve air quality and energy efficiency as well as research new sustainable technologies. “UVDI is pleased to have this opportunity to meet with members of both the IAQA and ACCA to show how UV and molecular filtration products can dramatically improve indoor air quality,” reported Paul Cochrane, Public Relations Manager for UVDI.
