Technicolor to support ONO for deployment of high speed data services

250,000 wireless cable modems already delivered

Paris (France) - Technicolor (Euronext Paris: 18453; NYSE: TCH) today announced that it has delivered 250,000 wireless cable modems (TCW710) to leading independent Spanish cable operator ONO.

ONO, which provides services to more than 1.8 million direct access customers, is Spain’s leading broadband communication and entertainment company, delivering integrated telephone, television and internet services.

The TCW710 wireless cable gateway from Technicolor provides both wired and wireless connectivity in the home, combined with high data speed over DOCSIS 2.0 or EuroDOCSIS 2.0 connectivity.

“The market for home gateway products is fiercely competitive,” said Georges Laplanche, Senior Vice President Technicolor, Connect President. “To achieve the successful relationship we have with ONO, we have delivered a very large number of units over an extended period and we have shown our commitment to the market, bringing innovation to our products to meet the growing expectations of the consumer.”

Leveraging its expertise in the WiFi Alliance for xDSL gateways, Technicolor has developed a range of wireless 802.11n products in conjunction with DOCSIS 3.0 or EuroDOCSIS 3.0, resulting in a very fast and convenient solution for cable operators. The portfolio includes the
TCW770 DOCSIS/EuroDOCSIS 3.0 wireless gateway and TWG870 wireless voice gateway for the European market.
