The laboratory in Torrance provides asbestos testing by polarized light microscopy (PLM) and phase contrast microscopy. In addition, the laboratory also provides mold analysis of spore traps, tape lifts and culture plates. The laboratory is currently accredited by NVLAP and CA ELAP accredited for asbestos analysis and AIHA EMLAP for mold analysis.
