"Entertain Pur" - Telephone and TV connection in a single package

Deutsche Telekom is now also offering a “pure” Entertain TV service without Internet connection. “Entertain Pur” costs EUR 27.95 per month and comprises a telephone and TV connection. This enables customers to telephone at low cost and use the TV service and innovative functions of Entertain. The minimum subscription period for an “Entertain Pur” package is 24 months.

The offer is aimed at customers who do not require an Internet connection, but who nonetheless place great value on TV entertainment. “With ‘Entertain Pur’ we offer telephone and TV from a single source, reaching new user groups for our Entertain service,” said Christian P. Illek, Member of the T-Home Board of Management responsible for Marketing and Marketing Director at T-Mobile Deutschland. “Customers who are not interested in Internet services don’t have to miss out on the innovative possibilities of Entertain any longer.”

In addition to a telephone line, the “Entertain Pur” complete package includes over 120 TV channels, access to an online video store and TV archive and allows the purchase of numerous add-on options such as Bundesliga service LIGA total!. Other features include the time-shift function and access to HD content. All media receivers necessary for the reception of Entertain are HD-ready.

Telephone calls to the German fixed network are billed on a minute-by-minute basis, costing 2.9 cents per minute. “Entertain Pur” with a telephone flat rate for calls to the entire German fixed network is available for EUR 39.95 per month.

With more than 120 TV channels, 10,000 titles – 500 of which available in HD – in the online video store and TV archive, around 2,500 national and international radio stations, as well as interactive applications, Entertain is the undisputed leader of the German IPTV market. Around 20 million households have the option of subscribing to Entertain via a high-speed DSL line. Entertain is available from EUR 27.95 (including TV and telephone connection) or EUR 44.95 (including TV, telephone flat rate and high-speed DSL flat rate.)
