ROCHESTER, N.Y.,Eastman Kodak Company, through a partnership with the National Geographic Society and Miller’s Professional Imaging, is offering consumers the exclusive opportunity to purchase décor prints of rarely seen images from the newly published book, National Geographic Image Collection, available now wherever books are sold.

This new book showcases the work of 204 celebrated photographers, with images culled from the Society’s library of 11.5 million images, dating from the late 19th century. Many of the photos are previously unpublished. Through the partnership, consumers will be able to purchase prints of 240 select images in sizes up to 20 x 30 inches, all printed by Mpix, a division of Miller’s, on KODAK professional paper.

“We are delighted to partner with National Geographic in bringing these remarkable images to the world and giving consumers the chance to have them in their home or office,” said John Blake, Vice President and General Manager, Digital Capture & Imaging Devices. “Kodak technology has played a central role not only in capturing the images, but in displaying them for exhibition and in printing the book itself. This year marks the 100th anniversary of Kodak’s association with National Geographic, and we feel there’s no better way to mark this milestone than by working together to celebrate the wonder and beauty of the world through pictures.”

Information and pricing for the décor prints can be found at: http://imagecollection.mpix.com. Miller’s Professional Imaging, based in Pittsburg, Kansas, is the largest professional photo laboratory in the U.S. All photos produced under this partnership will be printed on a choice of high-quality Kodak professional photographic papers, which offer exceptional color, sharpness, brilliance and durability. The images also will be featured on the home page of kodak.com, which will link consumers interested in purchasing prints to the Mpix site.
