Miles soon also redeemable for Germanwings flights

New Miles & More airline partner – award flights to more than 70 European destinations

Miles & More members will soon have even more opportunities to take city breaks or book holiday trips to interesting destinations. From 1 December, when Germanwings becomes a new airline partner in Lufthansa’s frequent flyer programme Miles & More, participants in the scheme will also be able to exchange award miles they have earned to date for award flights with Germanwings.

Germanwings offers flights to Split, Barcelona, Salzburg, Rome and Mykonos – to name just a few of the 70 attractive destinations the low-cost carrier flies to in Europe. For 25,000 award miles, Miles & More members can take off to domestic German destinations. For 30,000 miles they can fly to other destinations in Europe, while Fly Smart awards can be had for just 15,000 miles. The awards mentioned above apply to round-trip flights. One-way awards are not available. Germanwings flights depart from several German airports, including Cologne, Stuttgart, Berlin, Hamburg and Dortmund. Award flights can only be booked on the Miles & More website at www.miles-and-more.com.
