Today The Knowledge-Mart announced the launch of its robust new website and corporate training program. After months of extensive development, the new site is open to the public and is expected to take the online education sector by storm. There are several new improvements for both students and trainers, and the more streamlined system has created a smoother process for both purchasing and teaching online courses & classes.

The website opens with a more to-the-point home page and an easier-to-search course catalog. As users search for courses, they’ll be provided with suggestions for related courses and additional courses from the displayed trainer. This will make it easier for potential students to locate all courses offered in a series or complimenting courses to help them achieve a more well-rounded online education. Each “Course Detail” page now gives a more in-depth look at the course, including trainer information and a link to their extended profile, course description, agenda, trainer ratings and next steps all in one convenient location. Thanks to new features, new students no longer have to register or set up an account to purchase a course. The new system handles that and much more, taking out unnecessary steps and making it easier for students to get the online training need quickly.

There are also several new improvements for trainers. The new trainers’ home page displays courses that have been requested by students and corporate clients, allowing trainers with relevant experience to find and apply to teach those courses more easily. Professionals and experts looking to provide knowledge and supplement their income can now register right from the new Trainers home page as well. Course searches now yield related course suggestions as well as “More from This Trainer” suggestions which will help link related courses together and provide more exposure for each trainer. Trainers will also be able to keep track of their courses’ popularity, as each Course Details page now displays the number of views that page has received. All of the improvements made for students will also indirectly benefit trainers, with the new-found ease of use for students translating into more course sign-ups for every trainer.

The highlight of these recent updates is the addition of a new corporate training program. Now businesses and organizations can take advantage of convenient, flexible and expert-led online training for employees and other staff members. Among the latest of the updates is a brand new corporate admin area in which employers can manage what and how much their employees are learning, request new courses for their company’s specific needs and also manage a variety of access and billing options. Companies will be able to decide if they’d rather have a company rep to schedule and keep track of all courses taught and participated in, or whether employees should have individual access.
