TestAmerica Awarded Two USEPA Contracts for Multi-Media, Multi-Concentration Inorganic Analysis
TestAmerica’s Savannah, Georgia and Burlington, Vermont laboratories were recently awarded analytical contracts under the USEPA Superfund Analytical Services Contract Laboratory Program (CLP). The contract awards are for the performance of analytical services covering inorganic analysis under the most recent CLP Statements of Work. The base performance period is 180 days with up to four 1-year option periods.
“The qualification process leading up to award is rigorous, as are the contract performance criteria. The data we provide under this contract is used to determine the nature and extent of contamination at the nation’s Superfund sites. Our data drives decisions regarding how the clean up of these sites should be handled and is used to verify that the remedies applied have met the specified clean up goals. We are very pleased to be part of such an important national program”, said Dr. Charlie Carter, V.P. of Quality & Technical Services.
The Analytical Services Branch (ASB) of the Office of Superfund Superfund Remediation and Technology Innovation (OSRTI) works with all ten EPA regions, Federal, State and Tribal agencies supporting Superfund, Brownfields, the Great Lakes National Program Office, RCRA and Oil programs in pre-listing, remedial investigations and feasibility studies, remedial designs, remedial construction/post construction and time critical/non-time critical removal activities.
