WOMbat store picks up a gem of a new jewellery range

September 29 2009, CAMBRIDGE, U.K.: WOMbat Clothing, a company specialising in supplying rebellious clothing for thrill-seeking adventurers, has responded to customer demand and brought in a range of jewellery in contemporary, individual designs.

Its Cambridge store has just unveiled the new selection, produced for it locally by Bella Leeson, of Bella Jewellery.

Bella uses materials sourced ethically whenever possible from the areas where she has travelled, including Mexico, south-east Asia, Morocco and Africa. Most of the pieces she creates are inspired by the villages, scenery, culture and vibrant colours which surround them.

Like many typical WOMbat customers, Bella says she has always aspired to be individual and distinctive, and this is a major influence on her design work. “I know the importance of being individual and having something that no one else has,” she says. “So my pieces are all made with love and care and a strong belief in being your own person and making a statement.”

Anyone looking for truly distinctive accessories to complement their adventurous clothing will find something right for them in Bella Jewellery’s range.

WOMbat Clothing’s Victoria Tingey says the new jewellery line makes an excellent addition to the company’s range, which she is sure customers will love.

“Bella’s jewellery fits perfectly with Wombat’s ethos of offering individual products for customers who like their clothing and accessories to reflect their bold, up-front attitude to life,“ said Victoria.

“It also reinforces our commitment to combining these values with a dedication to using 100% natural materials, and adding our own variety of colours and designs to produce unique garments which embody our customers’ spirit of adventure,” she added.

ABOUT WOMbat CLOTHING

WOMbat was established in 2004, offering a small menswear collection. Since then, it has branched out to offer a full range of men’s and girls’ garments.

From initially being just an online store, it has now branched out onto the high street, and has three stores, in Abersoch in Snowdonia, Wales, Cambridge, and Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

WOMbat specialises in easy-care, easy-wear garments for people who enjoy life and make adventure a big part of it. But the clothes are equally suitable for just relaxing, and all designed to be comfortable for everyday wear, rather than something to just be worn outdoors.

No one else on the high street can compete with WOMbat Clothing’s Fair Trade clothes range; currently 55% of its garments are fair trade, and the company is constantly striving to find more suppliers to help it in its quest to increase this figure.

A variety of dyes, finishes and washes emphasise WOMbat Clothing’s uniqueness and individuality, and new fabrics, washes and trims are always being introduced – but only once WOMbat can be sure that they are as kind to the environment and their producers as possible.
