Forty Six Cell Sites Activated with 3G Mobile Broadband as Part of Ongoing AT&T Investment in Local Wireless Network in Pennsylvania, New Jersey

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.- As part of its continuing network investment to support growing demand for advanced mobile devices and applications, AT&T* today announced the activation of 3G technology on 46 cell sites in the greater Philadelphia area that will enhance coverage for residents and businesses in Berks, Bucks, Montgomery and Chester Counties in Pennsylvania, and Burlington, Gloucester, Mercer and Salem Counties in New Jersey. The communities that will see enhanced coverage include Nottingham, Cochranville, Atglen, Honey Brook, Solebury, Schwenksville, Oxford, Tabernacle, Franklinville, Woodstown and neighboring communities.

These cell sites are one part of AT&T’s ongoing efforts to drive innovation and extend its 3G wireless network – the fastest in the nation, according to independent testing. It is also part of AT&T’s ongoing investment to build the broadband networks that will fuel economic growth and create jobs, and enable the its customers to quickly access the content, applications and services that matter most to them.
