The festival, which began on September 15th, runs until December 19th and features a packed programme of cultural activities and performances, with something to offer everyone.
Highlights include concerts by renowned musicians including Wolfgang Rihm and Jean Barraque, as well as theatre shows and cinema screenings.
In addition, dozens of art exhibitions are taking place over the course of the festival at various venues across the city, including Sunrise East - a collection of figures on show at the Jardin des Tuileries, with one representing each month of the year.
Furthermore, visitors can view the work of performance and video artist Steven Cohen at the Centre Pompidou or attend a James Benning retrospective.
The Paris Autumn Festival is now in its 38th year and features more than 40 events in total, with many of them focusing on contemporary and experimental work.
Founded by Michel Guy, with support from the President of the French Republic Georges Pompidou, the event attracts more than 100,000 people every year and is one of the city’s largest and most popular festivals.
