Artist’s Guidebook Joined the List of Book Displays in Frankfurt

Musician and artist, Jim Gardner, published a book called Artists Are Like Apple Trees in December 2013. It is about using one’s talent to earn a living without having to sell one’s soul in the process.

“Our greatest asset is our own uniqueness. And with talent, there is no limit to what we can give and to what we can receive in return,” states Gardner as he explains the importance of using one’s talents in his or her lifetime.

Gardner’s book also paves the way to self-discovery and the discovery of one’s personal sense of purpose. It is a short read, but a very informative one.

The author has created this book in order to aid in the decision making process of individuals who want to build a career using their talents.

The book was featured at the 2015 Frankfurt Book Fair held last October 14-18, 2015 at the Frankfurt Trade Fair grounds in Frankfurt, Germany.

About the Author

Jim Gardner was born and raised in Wisconsin. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Art in 1973 from the University of Wisconsin. He worked his way through college by entertaining in the local bars, hotels, and fraternities. He continued his musical career until he was in his mid-thirties, playing in various bands and doing solo gigs throughout the Midwest and the southwestern United States.

By his mid-thirties, he was getting burned out on the music scene, so he revived his art skills and began working in print shops and ad agencies.
